Award winning Singer Songwriter Hans York has quickly made himself a name as an
extraordinary DADGAD player and strong, engaging performer with a distinctive
style and an irrepressibly delightful and approachable manner … His approach to
the guitar blends jazz, folk and Classical European styles into a sound that’s
both familiar and unique.

We have a special treat for the mid-summer concert: due to a change in their
tour schedule, Hans York is bringing his WHOLE BAND, Young Amelia, for the house
concert on July 24. Young and innovative, this new folk band has a warm and
wonderful sound that I know you will enjoy. It is extraordinary to have an
opportunity to hear and get to know musicians like these in the intimate setting
of a house concert and I hope you’ll join us for the fun. We’ll be outside
again, so get your tickets early, bring a jacket and a treat to share if the
mood strikes and come enjoy the music and lyrics of Hans York under the stars.
Due to limited seating reservations are required.

Here’s what CD Baby says about their new CD:

It’s the sound of simplicity and brilliance. With “Young Amelia” Seattle-based
Award winning Singer Songwriter Hans York takes acoustic music to new heights. A
sense of intimacy permeates each song as the listener is invited to travel an
eloquent and emotional landscape ranging from playful to profound. Everybody’s
there with Hans York and so are you as the music pulls you close. Hans York has
this unique ability to intertwine the genres. Folk, World, Pop, and Jazz are
blended with great elegance and braveness
